  • Tom Eliades (29) is a seasoned AFL footballer who has chosen to live a solitary life focused on his career, until he meets Noah (23), his new cleaner, sent from an elite agency. A bright and expressive queer Asian-Australian, Noah is immediately attracted to Tom despite their clashing worlds. However, Tom is closeted and protective of his private life, which would cause a scandal if it became public. As Tom and Noah explore their relationship, Tom is also under increasing pressure to renew a contract needed to advance his career, while Noah’s traumatic past resurfaces as his mother escapes an abusive relationship. Tom’s aggressive tendencies from the world of football clash with Noah’s desire for a peaceful life, threatening their future together. Tom considers coming out publicly, but fears what the spotlight will do to his career and legacy. Despite considering retirement to be with Noah, Tom is ultimately persuaded by Noah’s belief that Tom is brave enough to be the first openly gay footballer. In the end, Tom releases a video online, revealing his love for Noah and declaring he’ll play on. The two rejoice in their love and future together.
